I need some time to get some miles in. I’ve been tweaking some things since putting the wheels on and im tired from a tough week, but i need my~two~wheel~zen time. I’d have to say the bike is looking mighty zen as well. I think i may be done spamming posts of my Pogliaghi for now.

This is my cockpit. Everything about it is attune to my riding.
Sorry I haven’t been posting. I’ve got a fresh rider patrolling the streets. Im helping this guy train for his triathlon season as I am putting on miles to ride a good strong century season. My big thing is staying away from injury this year so i can spend more time in the saddle. I’ll be commuting a lot. I am riding strong right now. Chris, however is a competitor new to cycling. He does monster runs and has developed a good tri swimming technique. He has fairly good nutritional habits and also hits the gym. Now we got him on a bike. Let’s see how he adapts and how far this goes.

Finally got the set-up on the new bike to a point I truly like. I’ve already smoked the tires. I’m gonna have to get a pic of the tire smoke to share with you all. The build is working out well. Very aggressive fixie. You can’t see me now, but I’m cheezin’ .

This is how i spent my holiday. Actually, this was one of the few moments when i wasn’t running around a million places or stuffing my face with food. Good Times.
Just built this up yesterday and got hit durring my test ride. Surprisingly the bike seems okay. Its got a few scuffs, broke a pedal and had to re-tension the rear wheel. I put it together from parts i already had around. Lucked out to have a ratio that worked on this frame’s vertical dropouts. I miss my steel fixie, but in my situation this should work out just fine.

Really, im okay. I walked away from it all (albeit wit a limp, lol) so id say its all good. First time in all these years of riding to be hit, and i was riding so mellow yesterday too. Helmet saved my life again. Ill need to replace it now, but it did its job and im grateful for that. I’m gonna sit this one out today and heal a bit, cuddle an ice pack or two, and give thanks to my ongoing survival: but u all know im quick to be back up and going again. so ill see you all out there soon…. and thats a promise.

This isn’t an edit. My buddy got a flat the other day and this is some footage from his camera-phone from inside the sag-wagon. I figure this clip could help me share with you the types of roads ive been riding. East Tennessee has some great roads.
