I did over 1350 ft of climb in 20mi yesterday. It was good. Ive been getting heavy hitting short rides in lately. If weather, my work schedule, my sleep schedule, and over-all bike/body health would syncopate i’d be probably be doing more rides twice as long, but its been good that even on these short ones im hitting the climbs. Alternating between rollers and climbs has been doing me some real good. Id still like to swipe my 42t with a 39t because my body type is way more dependent on Aerobic power and lately ive been going Anaerobic on these climbs. Id rather spin it longer. By the time i can afford to swap out that ring ill only really need it in times of dire suffering. I dont even want to think about climbing the ‘ouches’ in September. *shivers*
